julian Thompson - CEO
Julian is the co-founder of the Tour Duchenne, along with his wife Sharyn Real, and CEO of the Fight Duchenne Foundation. He is a father to four wonderful children and after many years living abroad now resides on the Gold Coast.
Julian’s connection with Duchenne is a personal one. On Fathers Day 2006 Julian’s son, James, was diagnosed with Duchenne muscular dystrophy. While this news would leave most parents in a state of despair, Julian made a vow that he would do all he could to help beat Duchenne muscular dystrophy.
Since then Julian has helped raise over $2 million through 4 separate Tour Duchenne bike rides and countless other charity events.
Robin Stevens - Chairman
Robin is an ex-pat Englishman who decided to escape the binds of London town and headed to the “New World” at the turn of the century. Settling in the Eastern Suburbs, Robin specialises in helping people generate wealth through investment properties.
Robin rode the Tour Duchenne in 2014, and through his company POSITUS was an original financial supporter of the Fight Duchenne Foundation. Robin is happily married with a gorgeous daughter. In Robin’s limited spare time, he raises awareness and funds to support the Fight Duchenne Foundation, and the Duchenne community.
Rob Belgiovane - Director
Rob Belgiovane is a founding partner and Executive Creative Director of Belgiovane Williams Mackay, AdNews Magazine’s “Creative Network of the Year” awarded in 2010.
Under Rob’s creative guidance, BWM has become one of Australia’s leading creative agencies.
In the last three years he has won numerous international awards including Cannes Lions, New York’s One Show, Effies, London International Awards and Creative Network of the Year.
Rob is an avid supporter of Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy and has cycled Brisbane to Sydney, Sydney to Canberra and Adelaide to Melbourne to help raise funds and awareness for the cause.
